Finnieston, once a drab, dreich and downtrodden strip, has undergone a revolution in recent times.

New life via a swathe of super-chic eateries and dapper drinking dens has seen this end of Argyle Street become one of Glasgow’s trendiest hotspots, and the latest addition is no exception.

The Finnieston Pop Up, rebranded as 1116 Argyle Street, opened its doors with temporary intentions, yet has maintained a Glaswegian pop-up restaurant tradition and decided to hang around.

With blacked out windows that reveal nothing of the interior, save for a few thin strips of red light and trademark question mark on the door, this establishment requires diners to take a plunge into the unknown.
